This little white flower had the audacity to assume that it was a member of the toadflax family - hence it was named by a botanist (with some issues) Bastard Toadflax. It's a great name. I'm sure they opened for Jethro Tull. This rare native hosts the caterpillars of Common Buckeye butterflies. Maybe you will be lucky enough to see them in concert together.
